This adorable pair were owned by an elderly couple and due to hardship and health problems they could no longer care for them; thus, Pregnant Mare Rescue drove through the spring snow flurries and picked them up in the barrens of Nevada in April of 2007.

They're sweet as can be, a whole lot of fun and being only 27 inches tall, this inseparable pair can go anywhere! PMR's mini ambassadors are therapy horses and will be performing community service work visiting schools, nursing homes, marching in parades and so on.

We at PMR have high hopes that Joe and Minnie Cooper will bring joy to all that see them and public awareness to the importance of caring for horses. Come visit Joe and Minnie; they will welcome you with sweet mini whinnies and nickers.

And keep your fingers crossed -- there is a high possibility that Minnie might be pregnant! Joe wasn't gelded until March and Minnie is looking pretty chubby.
