Pregnant Mare Rescue,Inc.
Hope and Penny were rescued off a feedlot in August of 2007. Penny is a Curly Bakshir, and was in foal when she was doomed to a terrible slaughter death. Hope was orphaned when her mother was sent to slaughter ahead of her. Penny "adopted" Hope, and gave Hope some comfort that someone loved her.

Hope can finally rest without fear after arriving at Pregnant Mare Rescue's facility.

Penny arrived with a terrible injury to her face, courtesy of her time on the feedlot being readied for slaughter. Nobody cares if these poor horses get injured and are in pain.

Hope and Penny after being rehabilitated at Pregnant Mare Rescue. Happy girls!!! Both Hope and Penny have been adopted by loving families, and are being spoiled rotten with love and attention.
