Rasta Girl

Isn't she amazing. Jo Ann Hall has Rasta. I hear she is incredible. Carrying kids on her back. Thriving. The once untouchable wild mustang. Almost lost in the Trabing Fire. She is doing really remarkable.

I have had the most amazing day. And if I could be greedy it would be to ask for more time in the day. I would wish for longer hours to get my updates done, meet my volunteers and spend time with the horses. 

I had the most amazing day. I got to see Sam Harpur. He is such a wonderful man. His experience in the world of horses is well known in the county. He is so well spoken-of. I was excited to spend the afternoon visiting and sharing what we do at the rescue. Sam has years and years of experience on and around horses It meant alot when he commented that they looked happy.  He brought with him young ladies , the  future ambassadors of equine well being. These young girls were sweet and curious and learning about the horses we have, who they are, what makes them tick, and all that goes on at the rescue.

I had the most amazing day..Channel 2 KTVU in the bay Area called. They want to chat. Okay.... I get a bit shy here, but I'll call them. Its important to get the word out about what is going on with our beloved equines!!! Doing this kind of works makes you stretch beyond what is comfortable. Its not always easy......but its always important.

Then Sierra came out with her mom...FABULOUS! She is going to be working with baby Tag. He needs time and lots of love..and then we can get rid of his worms.  :)

My very dear friend Katy is helping organize some much needed changes to the website. As we continue on, things need to be fixed, addressed, and taken care of. She had tons of great Ideas....hopefully, you'll be seeing them soon.......And Karie has offered to help bring Lakota in from Madera..I could kiss her..well'... she wouldn't much appreciate that, but you get the idea...Lakota is our little guy that needs surgery. So, if you have $5.00, quick go out & put it it in the mail. It will help Lakota become a gentleman....:)He is ready for gelding, but needs special surgery...not all his equipment has descended. It has been a wonderful, fulfilling most amazing day :) Have a good evening..~~L
